The Data-Intensive Science Centre at the University of Sussex was established to address real social and economic problems. At the heart of DISCUS are the cross-disciplinary team, who apply data-science and machine learning expertise to fields such as particle physics, astronomy, and computer vision.
We support the UK’s public and private sector organisations as they seek to exploit their largest and most complex data sets, delivering beneficial outcomes for the general public, and gaining a competitive advantage on the international stage.
