Across the globe, right-wing populist are leading opinion polls and winning elections with the promise to fight for the interests and concerns of the people, which the political elite has supposedly neglected.
Who gets to define “the people”, and what does that mean for our shared future?
Join us in Brighton for an evening event exploring populism, power, and democracy, chaired by Assistant Professor in Politics Dr Hannah Richter alongside a specialist panel of leading scholars who aim to analyse how democracy might be reclaimed.
