Digital & Data Futures: Participatory AI - Drawing a Collective Dataset
Wednesday 25 March 15:00 until 17:00
University of Sussex Campus : Sussex Humanities Lab (opposite SB211) Silverstone Building
Speaker: Yasmine Boudiaf
Part of the series: Digital Methods Accelerator (DMA) programme 2025-26
Join artist-in-residence Yasmine Boudiaf for a creative, interactive workshop exploring collective image-making with generative AI. You will work together on a shared digital board to contribute images, transform them into line drawings and co-create a dataset which will be used to train a generative AI model, producing new visual forms from the group’s collective input. The session invites you to experiment with AI as a collaborative, embodied practice while reflecting on questions of data, authorship, and techno-ritual.
The workshop is brought to you by Sustainable AI Futures (BRAID UK), and is open to all.
