Head of Business and Management made Fellow of the Association for Information Systems

Professor Susan Newell
The Head of the Department of Business and Management at Sussex, Professor Sue Newell, has been made a 2017 Fellow of the Association for Information Systems (AIS).
Fellowship of the AIS is awarded to those who demonstrate an outstanding international reputation for scholarship, teaching and service to the information systems community.
Sue's research focuses on understanding the relationships between innovation, knowledge and organisational networking (IKON), primarily from an organisational theory perspective. She was one of the founding members of the IKON research centre based at Warwick University.
Sue has published over 100 journal articles in the areas of information systems, organisation studies and management, as well as numerous books and book chapters.
She will be formally recognised as a Fellow at the AIS annual meeting in Seoul, South Korea, in December 2017.
