Atomic, Molecular, and Optical (AMO) research at Sussex University is devoted to the study of fundamental physics and quantum effects using the techniques of atomic and laser physics.

This group is part of the Department of Physics and Astronomy within the School of Mathematical & Physical Sciences.

Directions to the University

Campus map
AMO faculty are in Pevensey-2 Building, marked as 26, to the west of the Science Car park, Car Park no. 1, as shown on the campus map.

Visitors arriving by car
Park in any campus carpark.  The Science car park, car park no. 1 is nearest to AMO which is in Pevensey-2 building.  Ask your host, or the School Office (main entrance foyer, Pevensey-2 building, shown as 50L on the campus map), for a parking voucher to display in your windscreen.  Please do not use the "Visitor's car park" as this is password protected.
