Virtual Law Fair 2020 exhibitor terms and conditions
Completing the booking form does not guarantee a place at the event. All vacancies being promoted at the fair must meet our code of practice. We may also be unable to accept your booking if the event is fully subscribed.
The booking fee is £200 +VAT. A reduced rate of £125 +VAT is offered for registered charities and Brighton and Sussex-based SMEs. The fee for recruitment agencies is £300 +VAT.
Your booking will be confirmed or otherwise with an email from us within seven working days of you submitting the form. If you don’t hear by this time, contact Jocelyn Owen by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org.
Final joining instructions will be emailed to you at least two weeks before the event.
If you have to cancel your fair booking, let us know as soon as possible in writing by emailing Jocelyn Owen at email@example.com.
Cancellations received within 28 days of the event (on or after Wednesday 23 September 2020) will be charged at the full invoice amount. If you cancel before Wednesday 23 September 2020, you will not be charged.
Delivery of event
The Fair will be delivered virtually via the Careers Fair Plus platform. Various features will be offered, as detailed and selected on the booking form. All exhibitors will be expected to offer at least one virtual option: one to one appointments, drop in room or both.
Webinars will be offered to sponsors and a limited number will be available to other exhibitors at a cost of £50 +VAT. These will be allocated on a first come first served basis.
Exhibitors will be expected to make every effort possible to carry out all their appointments at the scheduled time. If any appointments are missed through the fault of the exhibitor, these should be followed up with the student after the event.
Marketing the fair
The University makes every effort to promote the fair widely, but cannot guarantee student interest in all exhibitors. To maximise attendance please ensure you provide us with full information on the booking form to allow us to target marketing, this includes uploading your vacancies (for free) to our jobs portal.
Payment and invoicing
You will be invoiced by the University of Sussex following the Fair. Payments are to be made to the University of Sussex within 30 days of the date shown on the invoice. If the invoice should be sent to someone other than the person making the booking, it is essential you indicate this and give details when booking. Please ensure you provide the correct legal identity of your company for invoicing purposes. If you use purchase orders, please state the PO number on your booking form or confirm via email.
