Summer Schools

Through our Summer Schools, all students will get an experience of university study, staying in halls of residence, interacting with our fully-trained and DBS-checked student ambassadors, and taking part in social activities throughout the three days.

Year 10 Summer School

Our Year 10 Summer Schools run across two weeks in July and are open to First Generation Students from our partner schools across Sussex and London. They run across the following dates:

  • Week One (STEM) runs Tuesday 10 July to Thursday 12 July 2018

  • Week Two (HUMANITIES) runs Tuesday 17 July to Thursday 19 July 2018.

Depending on the week you attend, you'll experience a range of subject taster sessions run by academics at the University.

You'll also take part in a range of activities, including:

  • sports and leisure evening
  • icebreakers
  • Student Union night, with student society mini-tasters and pizza in the Union
  • inspirational and motivational speakers.

Spaces are only available to students from our partner schools. Please speak to your school co-ordinator to find out if you're eligible to apply.
