The University of Sussex has a strong history of internationalism, with an international perspective to its academic activities and its outlook. This is reflected in the faculty and student composition of the School of Law, Politics and Sociology, and in the courses and research interests within the School. The University attracts staff and students to its campus from over 120 different countries across the world, and over 25 per cent of the student population of the School are scholars from outside the UK.
As a research institution the University of Sussex has a robust international reputation and is rated within the top 20 institutions in the world. International students at Sussex also rate us highly; the International Student Barometer survey 2008 voted the University of Sussex the best ‘Place to Be’ in England for the third year in a row.
The School of Law Politics and Sociology extends a warm welcome to international students, colleagues and visitors.
