Writing Portfolio (Q3222)

30 credits, Level 6

Spring teaching

A creative portfolio is often the piece of work that makes students most proud. A chapbook of poems? A screenplay? A few short stories or quick fictions? A mash-up of genres and forms? We will support your vision.

This is the summative work of your degree. It’s is a final, extended research and creative writing project completed under supervision. It includes critical writing, to research and develop your topic of interest, and a creative piece of writing in a medium and genre of your choosing.

There’s flexibility in the final presentation, as we accept hybrid works of creative and critical writing. As well as one-to-one support, we’ll workshop your ideas and exemplary texts in smaller groups.

We can’t wait to read your writing.
