Media and Communications Dissertation (P4121)

30 credits, Level 6

Spring teaching

This module allows you to draw on your learning to write and research your dissertation.

It is aimed to build on appropriate critical, theoretical and methodological approaches you’ve studied. The module will enable you to draw together and reflect on the skills and knowledge acquired throughout your degree.

The module is largely self-directed, allowing you to focus on your specific and individual topic of research. We’ll guide you through the process of planning, researching and writing your dissertation.

We regularly review our modules to incorporate student feedback, staff expertise, as well as the latest research and teaching methodology. We’re planning to run these modules in the academic year 2020/21. However, there may be changes to these modules in response to feedback, staff availability, student demand or updates to our curriculum.

We’ll make sure to let you know of any material changes to modules at the earliest opportunity.
