Event description
The Sussex Research Hive invites all postgraduate researchers (PGRs), early career researchers (ECRs), as well as professional services colleagues supporting and enabling research at Sussex to join us for an End-of-Year Pizza Gathering at Stanmer Park this June.
This gathering will take place immediately after the Three Minute Thesis Final and PGR Impact Panel on June 26th.
Join us to close this year’s Summer of Research with an enjoyable evening of good food, good company, and hopefully good weather!

Target audience
Open to all emerging researchers, including postgraduate researchers and early career researchers, as well as research staff and professional services colleagues who support research and research culture across the University.
About the Research Hive Scholars
The Research Hive Scholars are three Sussex PGRs who support the University’s Research Hive space. They engage with researchers across disciplines to understand their needs, plan activities that support both academic and social wellbeing, and foster an inclusive, collaborative environment where PGRs can connect and share experiences.
Summer of Research 2026
This event is part of the Summer of Research 2026, a two‑week festival of researcher‑led talks, workshops and events celebrating the breadth and impact of research at the University of Sussex. The festival brings together researchers, students and professional services colleagues to share ideas, build connections and explore opportunities for future collaboration.
