SLS Legal Education Research Group

AIMS

The SLS Legal Education Research Group brings together colleagues from across Sussex Law School with an interest in legal education, pedagogy and developments in higher education more widely. This Group, supporting empirical, theoretical and practical enquiries into legal education, provides a forum for internal discussion and a supportive space for members to develop and nurture collaborative projects. We very much welcome external engagement, connection and collaboration. Through this online space, we share a range of our ongoing work including events, scholarly outputs and student experience and engagement projects. Every June, we host a Teaching and Learning Symposium at Sussex Law School which is designed to bring together colleagues, both within SLS and beyond, to reflect on our teaching experiences, share examples of best practice, and discuss topical issues of importance.
