Anthropology final year undergraduate options 2026-27

Autumn

Single Honours students (with or without the Thesis): choose two Anthropology modules.
Joint Honours students (with or without the Thesis): choose one Anthropology module.

Spring

Single Honours students:

  • If you are undertaking the Anthropology Thesis, then choose one 5,000-word option.
  • If you are not undertaking the Thesis, then choose:
    • one 7,000-word option, and
    • one 5,000-word option.
  • If you are Single Honours with a Language then choose either:
    • one Anthropology module from the 7,000-word list, or
    • The Anthropology Thesis.

Joint Honours students:

  • If you are undertaking the Anthropology Thesis there is no Spring optional module.
  • If you are not undertaking the Thesis then choose one Anthropology module.
