Clinic dates:

- Thursday 26 November
The online booking portal will be available later this week. Once live, booking links and supporting information will be published on the Staff Wellbeing Hub and Staff Events, so please keep an eye out for further updates.
Once you’ve booked
After selecting an appointment time, you will receive an on-screen confirmation and a confirmation email with your appointment details.
If you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment, please contact healesoh@heales.com quoting your case ID and preferred alternative date and time.
Please note:
- Appointments cannot be amended on the day of the clinic.
- Cancellations made within three working days of the appointment may incur a charge to the University.
Before attending your appointment
Please ensure you:
- Read the Flu Vaccine Patient Information Leaflet (attached)
- Complete the Pre-Vaccine Health Questionnaire (received via email after booking)
- Bring a valid form of photographic ID
Completing the questionnaire before attending will help clinics run smoothly and minimise waiting times.
Watch the Staff Wellbeing Hub and Staff Events for further announcements and booking details.
See if you are eligible for an NHS flu vaccination
The NHS recommends that people eligible for a free flu vaccination receive it as early as possible ahead of the winter flu season (in autumn or winter).
If you are eligible for an NHS flu vaccination, particularly if you are in a higher-risk group, we encourage you to book through your GP practice, community pharmacy or another NHS vaccination service, rather than waiting for the University's programme.
This includes people who:
- are aged 65 or over (including those who will be 65 by 31 March 2027)
- are aged 18 to 64 and have certain long-term health conditions
- are pregnant
- live in a care home
- are the main carer for an older or disabled person, or receive a carer's allowance
- live with someone who has a weakened immune system
- are experiencing homelessness or staying in a homeless hostel or night shelter
You can check your eligibility and find out more on the NHS website.
