Framing different “spaces” for thinking about sustainability
Abstract:
The presentation will follow the work that both presenters have been discussing that draws on radical geographers such as Lefebvre, Harvey and Massey and ANT (Actor Network Theory) to discuss how different conceptualisations of relational spaces (plural, fluid) can help to understand processes of “sustainable transitions”, primarily in the global south. We link this approach to some work in the sustainable transitions literature on splintered and polycentric socio technical systems.
