The first of our West Slope accommodation rooms are now being promoted to prospective students.

Opening in September this year, 376 brand-new ensuite rooms will be available across three buildings: Graffham House, Newick House and Saxby House. 

What’s on offer

All West Slope rooms on offer to students for the 2026-2027 academic year will be single ensuite bedrooms, arranged in flats of 6 to 8 students. This includes 4 accessible rooms.

The West Slope residence reception will be based in Saxby House, along with a laundrette and secure cycle storage for residents.

From September 2027 and 2028, additional accommodation will open, offering a wider mix of room types, including shared-bathroom options and 2-bedroom family flats.

Finishing touches

Our first West Slope accommodation blocks are now in the final stages of construction. Scaffolding is being removed, and over the coming months, final utility connections will be completed, rooms decorated and furniture installed.

Providing new, purpose-built campus accommodation will strengthen our student offer by delivering the modern, high quality living spaces today’s students expect. Increasing our on campus room capacity also means more students can benefit from campus life throughout their studies, with teaching, support services and social activities on their doorstep, all with all inclusive accommodation fees.
