CIRCY has joined Substack, a publishing platform for sharing short and long form articles. We will be posting articles by our members on topical issues relating to children and young people, ranging across research, policy and practice. The CIRCY Substack is free to sign up to, and you don't need a Substack account to read or subscribe to our posts. In our first Substack post, Prof Rachel Thomson introduces the 'Many Minds' approach to group data analysis and a recently published special issue that includes several CIRCY members: https://substack.com/home/post/p-183659166 The article explores how the Many Minds approach is especially valuable in research that touches on trauma in the lives of children and young people, as well as experiences of care and education within marginalised communities and those living in precarious circumstances.
If you would like to find out more about the 'Many Minds' approach, you can join the free online launch event of the special issue 'The Many Minds Approach to Group Data Analysis', published in the Journal of Psychosocial Studies, on 28th January 2025 from 10:00-11.30. Free tickets can be booked at this Eventbrite link.
