Postgraduate students still need to follow visa attendance requirements during the summer

Please remember that all Postgraduate taught students holding Student visa sponsorship must still follow the attendance requirements set out in the Attendance, Absence and Engagement Policy during the summer months of your course.
As full time students, the summer is still considered term time and even though you do not have any timetabled teaching and learning, the University is still required to record any contact you have with us so that we can demonstrate that you are meeting our attendance requirements.
When you meet with your dissertation supervisor or academic advisor, they will record your attendance at that meeting. You may also be asked to come along to your School Office as another option for a check-in with the University.
