Best of luck to anyone receiving results over the next few weeks. If you're unsure about what they mean, please contact your academic school or for support, log an enquiry on mysussex.
Summer vacation dates
Here are the opening times of places on campus to get food and drink or study spaces:
Therapy opening times
During the summer period, we do not offer the evening sessions that are offered during term time. Core hours for the therapy team are Monday-Friday 8:30-5pm. Students can have therapy remotely, but they must be in the UK.
Appeals and informal resolution (IR) process
Taught students will receive their results on the following dates:
- Undergraduate final year students: 18 June
- Undergraduate progression students: 7July
- Postgraduate taught students: 16 July
If you need help understanding your results, please contact your School/ Faculty directly for guidance.
If you're not satisfied with your outcome, you may wish to begin the Informal Resolution (IR) process. Full details—including how to complete the process and who to contact—are available here: https://student.sussex.ac.uk/assessment/appeals.
You should submit an appeal by the following deadlines:
- Informal Resolution – can be submitted at any time, but within a maximum of 10 University working days following receipt of the academic body’s decision.
- Formal Appeal – within 10 University working days following receipt of the academic body’s decision or within 10 university working days following receipt of the outcome of Informal Resolution, whichever is the longer.
- Appeal Outcome Review Request – within 10 University working days of receipt of their Formal Appeal Outcome.
