Luke Robinson is Lecturer in Film Studies. He has conducted research on Chinese-language cinema, and on film festivals. He is particularly interested in transnational cinemas within and beyond Asia, and on the significance of networks and mediators in film culture, whether understood materially or formally. A recent publication is Chinese Film Festivals: Sites of Translation (Palgrave Macmillan, 2017), edited with Chris Berry.
