My project is a protest against processed, ‘fast’, unhealthy food that is pumped full of chemicals, salt, sugar and fat. Processed food is often made to look fun, bright and appetising, particularly to children. We are often unaware of the nasty chemicals hidden inside synthetic food. My project aims to show the truth behind this.

I have been particularly inspired by Martin Parr’s highly colourful photographs looking at key social issues in Britain, with a great sense of irony and humour. Keith Arnatt has also influenced my work through his use of exquisite colours and innovative image construction.
