This series captures drinking amongst young people. The main idea behind the project was to show the variety of ways young people experience drinking with particular focus on bingeing. The photographs attempt to portray how easy it is to get caught up in a culture where drinking is so prevalent and seen as the norm as well as depicting what it feels like to be a drinker yourself.

The work has been influenced by modern colour documentarists Martin Parr & Anna Fox as well as Richard Billingham. They’re humorous, witty and sometimes-sad depictions of everyday situations and important aspects of regular life have played a significant role and influence on the photographs. This series would ideally be showcased in a venue such as the Photographer's Gallery in London as well as accompanying articles discussing the issue of drinking in the UK.
