The main aim of this film is to present a range of opinion from Muslim characters on a variety of current issues. This aim is situated in a road trip from Brighton to Manchester. The reason I wanted to make this film was to provide realistic characterisations of Muslims and migrants in Britain. My creative influences in making this film are the classical road trip films of the late 60's (e.g. Bonnie and Clyde) as well as the newer hybrid genre road films (e.g. Collateral). By mixing these influences and using my own vision i hope to create a different perspective on the road film. The potential audience to this film would be an art house audience because the film is heavily conversation based and that the narrative is simply the journey itself with the characters in the car throughout most of the film and because of those factors I feel this wouldn’t appeal to a mainstream market.
