School Visiting Lecturer Scheme

These positions will run for the minimum of a term and up to the duration of one year, but may be subject to renewal. The School Visiting Lecturer scheme is available to applicants who wish to undertake a course of teaching in the School. Applicants should contact a member of faculty or Head of Department in the School of Law, Politics and Sociology in the first instance. Click here for a list of faculty research directory. Appointments are approved by the Director of Taught Programmes and the Head of School. 

Visiting Lecturers will have use of library, email, stationery and limited postal facilities. Depending on individual requirement and available School resources, they may also include access to office space and PC.

Decisions on these appointments will rest with Heads of Department and the Head of School. As part of the application for these positions, candidates will need to identify teaching that they may undertake within the School and provide two references as to their teaching history and ability. No fees are required for Visiting Lecturer Fellowships.
