Applicant Visit Days

Everyone who applies for a place in Engineering and Design, and is made an offer, is invited to attend one of our Applicant Visit Days. If it is possible for you to attend, a visit to the University is the very best way to decide whether you have made the right choice and whether you can imagine yourself spending the next three or four years at Sussex.

We have put together an interesting and informative programme combining an introduction to the Department with talks about the subject area you have chosen and tours of the facilities. Here you get to see the teaching and research laboratories and other facilities available to support our courses and meet current lecturers. Most importantly, your guides are our own students. They are always happy to answer any of your questions and give you the benefit of their experience of Engineering and Design at Sussex.

If you are non-UK based and would like to visit, please contact us and we can discuss arrangements.

This is what some of our visitors said about their day with us:

'Students here seem very enthusiastic and friendly.'

'A very useful day, especially good campus tour/accommodation viewing.'

'Impressed by Thermodynamics, Dynamics and Auto Lab. I liked the way they went into detail about the course (Automotive).'

'Very nice staff, genuinely enthusiastic.'
