The University has over 350 Homestay off-campus places dotted throughout the city. Homestay provides students with a room in a residential house following our inspection and particular facilities and charges will be provided to new residents upon arrival. Typically, students noting Sussex as their Insurance choice and others not guaranteed, take a Homestay place until a room becomes available in University managed housing after the start of term because of the flexibility of the scheme: with a one week notice period to leave stemming from an arrangement between the resident and the Landlord.
