The School has roughly 600 undergraduate students, including 60 international students. Each year 40 students come to study Film Studies, 40 to study Media Practice, and 50 to study Media Studies. 30 students a year study Music, and 40 come to take our joint honours degree in Cultural studies.
On our Masters degrees we have just under 100 students, almost half of them international, bringing experience from across the world. They are studying for a wide range of MA degrees: in Media and Cultural Studies, Film Studies, Digital Media, Creative Media Practice, Digital Documentary, Gender and Media, Multimedia Journalism, Journalism and Media Studies, Journalism and Documentary Making, and Music.
Some 45 DPhil students and post-doctoral researchers pursue their specialist research projects in the School, working on both critical and theoretical and practice-based projects.
