Autumn teaching
In this module, you will explore classic and contemporary psychological accounts of self and identity processes.
You will cover a wide range of topics, creating a thorough and critical examination of key theories and debates in social psychologydrawing. You will also learn more about developmental, cross-cultural, social constructionist and philosophical perspectives as well as considering the implications of these theories for real-world issues, such as subjective well-being, health behaviours, personal relationships, prejudice and politics.

Contact hours and workload
This module is approximately 150 hours of work. This breaks down into about 19 hours of contact time and about 131 hours of independent study. The University may make minor variations to the contact hours for operational reasons, including timetabling requirements.
