Autumn teaching
On this module, you’ll learn to work collaboratively and effectively with others. You’ll also expand your approaches to performance-making through different media. You’ll focus on:
- generating new ideas
- managing projects
- structuring research and development
- documenting and sharing your process.
The module puts emphasis on what it means to become a critically reflective performance maker. Key skills you’ll gain include:
- collaborative practical working processes
- developing complex ideas through research and practice
- presenting and documenting working processes.

Contact hours and workload
This module is approximately 300 hours of work. This breaks down into about 83 hours of contact time and about 217 hours of independent study. The University may make minor variations to the contact hours for operational reasons, including timetabling requirements.
We regularly review our modules to incorporate student feedback, staff expertise, as well as the latest research and teaching methodology.
