Green Impact

The Green Impact scheme for 2019/20 is now open to any staff members who are interested in getting involved.

If you would like to join an existing team, or even start your own, you can email Emma.Price@sef.fm for more information.

The Green Impact scheme is a great way to work collaboratively with your colleagues on making your workplace more sustainable and environmentally-friendly. Throughout the year you will work towards goals set out in a Green Impact workbook. In May, each team is awarded either Bronze, Silver or Gold at the all-important Awards Event. It is a fun and fulfilling opportunity to really make a difference at the University.

In the Green Impact workbook this year we are focusing on UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly Good Health and Wellbeing; Reduced Inequalities; Climate Action; Peace, Justice and Strong Institutions and Partnerships. We are also concentrating on the Climate Emergency and creating a plastic-free campus.
