Many students prefer to live off-campus so they can take advantage of the lively social and cultural activities available and have easy access to their residence at the end of the night. Transport links to the University are good, with properties typically being located either near to the 25 bus route which serves the university, or close to one of the city's train stations.
For 2013/14, the average weekly rent for a standard study bedroom is £105.00-£114.00. Your actual rent will varey, depending on size, location and facilities.
There are two types of off-campus accommodation:
1. Managed and owned by the University, Stanmer Court and Off-Campus Building Manager, Su Balcombe
2. Managed and Head-leased to the University, Housing Officer (Headlease / Homestay), Paul Nann
