Apply for a summer room

We have a limited number of self-catering en-suite and budget rooms available on a short-term basis for Sussex students and other visitors during the summer.  On-campus and surrounded by the beautiful South Downs National Park and with excellent transport links to Brighton, London and surrounding areas, our summer rooms are available until 10am Saturday 31st August 2013 - bookable by agreement in-advance.

Sussex students not currently in our residences:

The booking terms and conditions are available for download (17 KB Word).  By submitting an application for a summer room you are acknowledging that you have read, fully understood and agree to the terms and conditions.  You will need to bring your own bedding and cooking utensils, or purchase upon arrival.

Indicative weekly prices for Sussex students:
£80.50 East Slope single bed-space - sharing a bathroom with others.
£59.00 East Slope shared room (two single bed-spaces in one room) - sharing a bathroom with others.
£90.30 Park Village single bed-space - sharing a bathroom with others.
£126.00 Stanmer Court single bed-space - with En-suite facilities.

The exact price may be higher or lower depending on the room available and will be provided to you in-advance for your consideration.  The minimum booking period is one week.

Visitors and non-Sussex visiting students:

£122.40 East Slope / Park Village single bed-space - sharing a bathroom with others.
£85.68 East Slope shared room (two single bed-spaces in one room) - sharing a bathroom with others.
£189.00 Stanmer Court single bed-space - with En-suite facilities.

The exact price may be higher or lower depending on the room available and will be provided to you in-advance for your consideration.  Internet access (wired and wi-fi is not available to non-registered Sussex students in rooms or on campus).

Groups:

Group (4 or more people) not currently living or studying with us (2 night minimum stay, most requests are for 1 week):

If you are a Sussex student already living in our residences, this page isn't for you.  Please visit the Housing Office to discuss you request following our email to you at the start of May encouraging an application from you via your Sussex Direct Account which has now closed for applications. 

All bookings are subject to availability.  Unfortunately, submitting an application form does not guarantee a room.
