Yes! Your OFFICIAL residence Facebook Group is now open below...
Every year, the Housing Office manage Facebook Groups to help our new residents find their flat-mates and neighbours before moving in, which we find helps to make the whole process a little less daunting and fun in the meantime! The groups are a useful way to bring together teams and others involved in helping to improve the experience of living with US.
If you are a new student, you will be sent a link to your Facebook Group with your accommodation offer. All you need to do then, is search for your residence group on Facebook, request to join, and a member of the Housing Team will add you to the group. It's a great way to ask any questions that may be on your mind and to get to know who you'll be living with throughout your first year at Sussex. We welcome contributions from others, including the Students' Union and Sussex Societies and others to provide you with all the information you need to settle into living with US. The groups run live throughout the year.
