I teach Advanced Physics Laboratory (F3219). This module runs in both semesters of the year and students do four-week mini research projects with advanced physics equipments (we have for example equipment with lasers, telescopes, and radiation detectors in the lab). This teaches experimental skills, transferable skills (such as report writing and presenting), planning, and how to perform independent research.

I also supervise PhD students, as well as MSc, MPhys and BSc students in doing their research projects.
