South Coast Cosmology - Sussex 18

The South Coast Cosmology meeting is an opportunity for Portsmouth, Southampton, MSSL and Sussex members to present their work at a local meeting more regularly than is now possible at UKcosmo. The meetings will take place once a term alternating between Portsmouth and Sussex.

We look forward to seeing you at Sussex in July! 

Date and time: Wednesday, 4 July, 2018. 1.30-5.30pm.

Location: All talks will be held in the Pevensey I building (Lecture Theatre 1A7), University of Sussex. Notice that this building is not where the department of Cosmology is.

For those who arrive early, we will meet at 12:15 in the astronomy centre (Pevensey 3 building, 4C corridor) and go for lunch.

Talks and registration:

We will have 8 talks + 1 discussion session (15+5 minutes each). If you would like to give a talk or lead a discussion on a specific topic in Cosmology, please give details via the registation form. There will be a blackboard available for the talks/discussion if needed.

The deadline for submitting a talk is June 18, and for attendance it is June 29
