Enterprise development fund
The University has created an Enterprise Development Fund to support new academic commercial activity. With leadership from senior academic management, all academic staff at Sussex are invited to bid for funds to support start-up commercial initiatives related to their work, whether the development of a service (physical or intellectual) or of a product.
The successful projects will be supported by the Sussex Innovation Centre, working with the University's business development teams. An Enterprise Panel including external representation oversees and promotes the Fund. Combining the best academic thinking with professional business support, we aim to foster the best of new commercial academic activity.
