We work with local off-campus venues to offer some great opportunities for University of Sussex students.

In addition to our on-campus facilities, we work with local companies to offer you lots of sporting opportunities throughout Sussex. 

Swim for £1.50 at local pools

Just fill in a student swim form on your first visit to swim for £1.50 at pools in Brighton & Hove.

Bouldering

Bouldering is a fun form of indoor climbing without the need for ropes or harnesses. We occasionally run one-off sessions at Boulder Brighton in Portslade, you can look out for these on our social channels.

We have also agreed a student discount with Boulder Brighton, so if you get the climbing bug you can go as often as you like!

Yellowave Beach Sports 

We run one-off beach volleyball sessions at Yellowave, a beach sports venue close to Brighton Marina in the city centre. To find out more about these events, like our Active US Facebook page or follow us on Twitter.

Climbing

High Sports climbing are based at the Withdean Sports Complex in Brighton. Our partnership allows us to offer some great discount opportunities for Sussex students to learn how to climb and take full use of their fantastic facilities.
