Print Unit

The Print Unit provides on site reprographics services including bulk photocopying and digital printing, manages the production of externally sourced printing work, and produces University ID cards for staff and students.

The Print Unit is open to in-person visitors from 9.30am to 4.00pm, Monday to Friday. All enquiries outside these hours should be made by email to the named contacts listed below.

We are located in Hastings Building (access via Estates Road, not main reception). You can view a map showing our location hereThere is ongoing building work in progress in and around Hastings Building so please take care and watch out for service vehicles when in the area. Please ring the bell for attention on arrival.

We can take debit or credit card payments for customers wishing to pay for their own printing. University customers who raise purchase orders for printing work should visit our Placing an order page for full details of the procedure. 

Deliveries on campus are made via the internal mail service. Consignments are delivered to the local porters' office for onward distribution to the required location.

We have moved!

The Print Unit has completed the move to its new home in Hastings Building.

We are open at our new location from 9.30am to 4.00pm, Monday to Friday.

ID card service news

To maintain safe working conditions for staff, the ID card service is operating under conditions of restricted access. 

New students requiring an ID card must first complete their Registration. If you are a new student and you have not received your ID card when you arrive on campus, visit the Student Centre Welcome Desk.
