Labs and Research Projects
The Sussex Child Research Hub is used by the following labs:
CATT Lab - conducting research with the aim of understanding more about how children develop fears, anxiety and confidence. Current projects include the Anxiety Symptoms Prevention Investigation
ChaT Lab - which conducts research projects into how technology can be used to understand and support children working and playing together.
Sussex Baby Lab - for the Rainbow Project which is investigating how babies see colours.
WORD Lab - whose recent research projects include exploring how ostensive naming - being really obvious about what a name is refering to - helps children learn words, and whether hearing the same story again and again helps children to learn words.
