Mr Duc Lam Duong
Biography
I am a fourth-year (last year) PhD student (started in 2016) at the School of Mathematical and Physical Sciences, University of Sussex. I finished my BSc in Mathematics at Hanoi University of Education (HNUE, Vietnam) in 2013, under the supervision of Prof. Cung The Anh. I spent one year at the Institute of Math (IMH, Hanoi) for the joint master program between France and Vietnam, then moved to Univesité de Nice (France) to complete my Master MPA at the Laboratoire de Mathématiques J.A. Dieudonné under the supervision of Prof. David Chiron in 2015. Currently, I am working with Prof. Masoumeh Dashti (1st supervisor) and Prof. Babis Makridakis (2nd supervisor) in the analysis and PDEs group, thanks to a scholarship from the Mathematics Department and ModCompShock - a network funded by the European Union’s Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme (Marie Sklodowska-Curie grant agreement No 642768).
