Role

I am currently a PhD candidate working primarily within the field of Digital History, based within the Sussex Humanities Lab. My research is concerned with exploring and mapping the impact of contemtporary digital research methods, digital platforms and technologies on the field of Black/African diaspora history at a professional level, and the emerging techno-vernaucular of black mnemonic communities online. 

Teaching: 

Tutor on Race, Ethnicity and Nationalism - a second year undergraducate module taught by Professor Vinita Damodaran and Anne Irfan. The module explores questions of nationalism and race within a South African, India and Middle Eastern context.
