What is this?

Biography

I have worked in Higher Education for 15 years.  Prior to joining Sussex I was the Head of Admissions for the University of Brighton and sat on sector wide admissions groups organised by UCAS and the Aacademic Registrar's Council.  I have also been a School Administrative Manager and held a number of Quality Assurance roles.  My career to date has given me a broad range of experience in many different areas of university administration.  I am also a member of the Association of University Administrators and hold a particular interest in staff development.

Role

I am the new Head of Student Administration, a role created in 2022 as part of the reorganisation of the Division of Student Experience.  I hold responsibility for Exams and Assessment, Timetabling, Academic Regulations, Academic Appeals and UKVI Compliance.  Colleagues are very welcome to contact me on matters relating to these areas.
