Teaching

I am the Co-conveneor of the MA Gender and Development program at IDS. I teach in the modules on Theroetical approaches of gender and development - lecturing on different feminist schools of thought, gendered political economy. I convene the Politics of Gender modules -and teach feminist notions of power and politics, gender and systems of representation and participation, gender and bureucracy, gender and informal institutions, and feminist movements and backlash against gender equality. I also teach in the MA in Govervance and Development programme (modules on Making Public Policy lecturing on advocacy and policy coalitions, and Democracy and Public Policy lecturing on gender and democratic institutions. I also etach core skills session on gender and governance: issues and practices). In addition, I supervise MA dissertations and PhD students.
