Research Fellow in Emotion and Neuroscience, Brighton & Sussex Medical School, 2011–present
Research Staff, Sackler Centre for Consciousness Science, University of Sussex, 2011–present
Postdoctoral Research Fellow, Department of Psychiatry, University of Michigan, 2007–2011
Role
A fellow at BSMS investigating the mechanisms underlying learning and memory, using psychopharmacology, psychophysiology and fMRI to gain insight into the cognitive and neuronal mechanisms underlying distinct memory processes, with a particular interest in the impact of stress on memory. Research focuses on different memory phenomena, specifically memory distortion, memory facilitation and memory inhibition. Recent research centres on the impact of the heart on memory and emotion.
