The University of Sussex is proud to host the ninth International Seminar on ORC Power Systems (ORC 2027) from 8-10 September 2027.

ORC 2027 will take place at the University of Sussex campus in Falmer, East Sussex.
Now in its ninth year, ORC 2027 is the leading international conference bringing together researchers and industry professionals working on organic Rankine cycle (ORC) technology and related systems, including high-temperature heat pumps and supercritical CO2 power cycles. The seminar is organised by the University of Sussex in collaboration with the Knowledge Centre on Organic Rankine Cycle (KCORC).
New for ORC 2027: Industry and deployment track
For ORC 2027 we have introduced a new dedicated 'Industry and deployment' submission track focusing on industrial deployment and case-studies, commercialisation, operational aspects, and end-user experiences.
Although the industry and deployment track is intended for shorter industrial contributions, the submissions will be integrated into the conference programme alongside research papers to encourage interaction between industrial professionals and academics.
The deadline for abstracts is 27 November 2026.
