Research Hive seminars 2011

Research in the UK is coming under increasing pressure from funding cuts, technological changes and expectations from government and other stakeholders. What does this mean for you as a researcher at Sussex?

The Sussex Research Hive Seminar Series was organised and hosted by the Library and provided an opportunity to discuss some of these issues with other researchers across the University. The seminars were free and open to everyone engaged in, or supporting, the research process at Sussex. The series was funded by SAGE as part of the Library's programme of support for researchers, and featured a number of high profile external experts as well as representatives of the research community within Sussex with the aim of bringing researchers together from across campus to engage in debate.

The presentations have been recorded and made available for the benefit of students and staff who were unable to come along on the day. Please follow the information below.
