Getting to the Brighton Centre

You can reach the Brighton Centre in several ways.

We recommend, where possible, making your way to the venue using public transport as car parking can be expensive. If you’re travelling from far away, try parking outside the city centre and using public transport or walking.

Train

From Brighton Station in Queen’s Road it takes about 15 minutes to walk to the Brighton Centre. Taxis and buses are available. There are fast trains from London and frequent direct services along the south coast from as far away as Hastings and Southampton.

Bus

If you’re travelling within the city, visit the Brighton & Hove Buses website for full details about services towards the Brighton Centre. The nearest bus stops are at Churchill Square. You would then have to walk down West Street to the seafront. The Brighton Centre is on the right.

Coach

National Express coaches to Brighton terminate at the coach station in Pool Valley.

From here it is about eight-minute walk to the Brighton Centre:

  • walk directly south towards the sea and on to King’s Road
  • turn right and walk along the pavement westwards
  • the Brighton Centre is on the right, usually festooned with graduation banners.

Car

If you plan to drive, allow plenty of time as routes into Brighton can get very busy at peak times.

The postcode for the Brighton Centre is BN1 2DX. See Google map.

From London and the North, the easiest way to get to Brighton is to use the M25 London orbital motorway.

For Brighton, take junction 7 southbound on to the M23, which becomes the A23 directly into Brighton. The road will continue through the city straight to Brighton seafront, where the Brighton Centre is located.

From the east and west, Brighton can be reached using the A27. This is the easiest route. Leave the A27 via the A23 turn-off (signposted Brighton), take the third exit on the first roundabout and first exit on the second roundabout. This takes you on to London Road and directly into Brighton. The road will continue through the city straight to the seafront.

Parking in Brighton & Hove

Aside from potential traffic delays, driving will mean using a car park. This can be expensive, especially if you want to stay for the whole day.

If you choose to drive, these are your immediate parking options:

There are also some pay-and-display options along the seafront. See prices and locations.
