Sismondi and his contemporaries
The essay published here comes from the Helmut Pappe's papers and appears to have been one of the last papers completed (i.e. it was written in the 1980s and revised in the 1990s). The paper underlines Pappe’s concern to restore Sismondi to the first rank of European political economists and historians.
