The 2009 Lewes Festival
The ten day long festival entitled 'Thomas Paine in Lewes: Revolution and Reason' ran from the 4th to the 14th of July 2009 was a huge success. Over 130 events took place, with over 10,000 active participants. Articles on the festival were featured in the Washington Post, Dallas News, Observer, Guardian online, The Argus and the Sussex Express, and three exposures on South East Today and on the National Politics Show.
