Financialisation and neoliberal governance has been a long standing focus of the CGPE where Samuel Knafo has been heading a research group which examines the ways in which financialisation is transforming the logic of capital accumulation and the practices of governance under neoliberalism. The research of this group is based on a critical method of enquiry which seeks to capture the role of key agents and political struggles in the development of finance.
